INFORMATION ON PRIVACY ART. 10 LAW 675/96 Pursuant to art. 10 of the law of 31st December 1996 no. 675 on the �Protection of persons and other subjects in respect to the treatment of personal data�, we inform you that, following the submission of your data through the compilation of online forms on this website, you agree to the treatment of your personal data in accordance with the above mentioned law and obligations of confidentiality which has inspired our activity. The data will be treated for the purpose of commercial information or to send advertising material, promotional or retail, or for the fulfilment of market research or interactive commercial communication, as well as to access a series of optional services such as: - replies to specialised paediatric questions; - participation in competitions; - assistance service relating to collecting points; - exchange of ideas �on line� between members of the club. The method of processing of your personal data may provide for use of suitable automatic tools which process information on the basis of qualitative, quantitative and temporal criteria. Your personal data will any event be kept strictly confidential and treated in a manner that shall guarantee its security and privacy. At any time, in accordance with art. 13 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, you will be able to access your data free of charge in order to correct it, request its cancellation, or its transformation into anonymous form, by writing to Fater S.p.A c/o CEMIT Casella Postale 1140 AP, 10199 Torino. Besides those subjects who may have access to said data on the basis of dispositions of law or secondary legislation, your data may also be transmitted to: - other companies of the same group; - Service companies, with particular reference to companies managing elaborative systems dealing with business consultancy, despatch and/or address of correspondence, goods and/or of use. In the case in which you intend to utilise the service �The paediatrician responds�, the data that you will send could contain information pertaining to the state of health and therefore forms sensitive data according to art. 22 of the law; for this reason this data will be forwarded solely and directly to the Paediatrician, who will utilise the data only to provide you with his free professional advice which is the object of the service, and to which he will be Responsible in accordance with the sense of the law 675/96. ART. 13 LAW NO. 675/96 1. In respect of the treatment of personal data, any data subject shall have the right: a) to have knowledge, through free of charge access to the register mentioned under paragraph 1, subheading a), of article 31, of the existence of the treated data that may concern him; b) to be informed of matters detailed under paragraph 4, subheadings a), b) and c), of article 7; c) to obtain from the holder of data or the responsible person without delay: I. confirmation as to the existence or otherwise of personal data relating to him, regardless of whether or not it is already registered, and the communication being in an intelligible form relating to such data and its origin, as well as of the logic and the purposes to which its treatment is based; such request is able to be renewed, with the exception of justified reasons, at intervals of not less than ninety days; II. The cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including the unnecessary preservation of data held in relation to purposes for which it was originally collected or subsequently processed. III. The updating, rectification or alternatively in those cases where they have an interest, the completion of data; IV. The attestation that the operations to which numbers 2) and 3) refer have been brought to attention, also as regards their content, of subjects to which data was transmitted or disseminated, except in the case in which such fulfilment is itself impossible or involves a task manifestly disproportionate to the right protected; d) to object, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the treatment of personal data that relates to him, even if relevant to the purpose of the collection; e) to object, in whole or in part to the treatment of personal data that relates to him, obtained for the purpose of commercial information or to send advertising or direct sales material or rather for the completion of market research or interactive commercial communication and to be informed by the holder, no later than the moment in which the data is transmitted or distributed, of the possibility to exercise without cost such right. 3. The rights to which paragraph 1 refers, where pertaining to the personal data of deceased persons may be exercised by whosoever has an interest. 4. In the exercise of rights to which paragraph 1 refers, the interested party is able to confer, in writing, a power of attorney or authority to physical persons or associations. 5. The above shall be without prejudice to those laws relating to the professional secrecy of journalists, limited to the provisions relating to the source of the information.
